As a Lockheed Martin Project Manager, Rick Zeeger, was wrapping up his Data Center Renovation project for SMECO when he was approached by two local businesses that were struggling with failing networks. One network was quickly fixed in a single weekend, while the second would require several weeks of work. Other local IT companies were given the opportunity, but no single engagement ever made a difference.

In mid-2005, the newly-formed arzyNet proposed a project plan that was accepted for implementation at that second company. A new in-house network was re-designed for improved performance and security, and then fifty-plus workstations were migrated into the new network with zero loss of data, email, or services. The project was a complete success.
